This means your data resides on your device and is not transmitted to, or stored on, any external servers. You have complete control over your data.

2. AI-Powered Analytics Features

The App offers optional AI-powered features for financial analysis. These features are strictly opt-in.

• Consent-Based: Before using an AI feature, you will be presented with a notice and must provide explicit consent via a checkbox.
• Anonymized Data: If you consent, and only then, a limited and anonymized subset of your data is sent for analysis. This includes numerical values (like amounts and rates) and non-personal categories.
• No Personal Information: We never transmit personal identifiers. Data such as transaction IDs or the optional "name" you give a transaction (e.g., "Dinner with friends") is never sent.

3. Data Control: Import, Export, and Deletion

You have full ownership of your data. The App provides features in the Settings menu to:

• Export: You can export all your data into a single JSON file at any time.
• Import: You can restore your data from a previously exported JSON file.
• Delete: You can permanently delete all your data from your browser at any time. This action is irreversible.

4. No Cookies or Tracking

The core application does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. The only use of browser storage is for saving your application data and theme preferences as described above.
